Avondale Samaritan Place

Canterbury UMC and Avondale UMC share a joint vision: to serve the immediate needs of men and women in the community while leading them toward a more productive future. Avondale Samaritan Place, a Community Hub for Christian Service, currently addresses food, housing and elderly-assistance needs through both the Avondale Food Co-op, and Beeson Senior Services. Together, Canterbury United Methodist Church and Avondale United Methodist Church have created a place to serve the Avondale community.
