New Traditions

New Traditions in the Chapel continues the ancient Christian practice of Song, Word, and Sacrament in worship. Music is integral to New Traditions. A choral ensemble sings both familiar songs and new arrangements from the balcony behind the congregation. Responses and prayers are oftentimes sung or changed, rather than spoken. Following the scripture reading and sermon, persons of all ages and stages are invited to participate in Holy Communion each week. Every service is a fresh encounter with God as we join together in these spiritual practices.
