Have you been participating in the community at Canterbury and now you are considering becoming a member? The Beginnings experience builds community and helps you learn more about what it means to become a member of Canterbury. You will learn a lot while you meet new friends and staff. God bless you as you consider this important decision in your life! We will gladly answer questions as you read further and decide if Beginnings is the next step for you.
Contact Rev. Tori Hastings about your desire to join (Tori.Hastings@CanterburyUMC.org or 868-6580). You may also check on the worship attendance pad, "Please contact me about membership." We will get in touch with you.
Participate in Beginnings. This is the route you take as you transition into membership. Register for Beginnings with Becky King (Becky.King@CanterburyUMC.org or 874-1520).
All Sunday morning sessions meet 9:15-10:15 during Sunday School in the Dining Room. Each of these sessions explores the meaning and application of the vows you will make as members of the church community.
As you complete these sessions, you will join the church in the worship service you choose on the day of this last session. Canterbury will be blessed because you are a part of God's work in the world!
