Age Groups

We are in ministry with children—worshiping, studying, serving, and most importantly, growing together in our understanding of what it means to be children of God. Nurseries are provided during worship services for infants through 4-year-olds. Classes are available during the Sunday School hour for all children, ages two - sixth grade.

Confirmation/6th Grade

Confirmation is an ancient rite of passage where the confirmand explores the tenants of the faith, what it means to be a Christian, a United Methodist and if they want to continue in that journey of faith. Confirmation is a wonderful immersive experience for our 6th grade students that will forever change their lives.

We believe that God has called us to a life of worship.  While music and prayer are a part of the life, we believe that God has called us also understand worship as something we are always doing.  This means that we view every breath we take as an opportunity to worship God with our words, actions, thoughts and passion. We do this through learning, serving and community.

At Canterbury, we strive to provide a "church home" for college students in our area, as well as continue to nurture our own students that have grown up here and are away at school.  We want to keep in touch and reach out to them during this important time in their lives.
